How does the app work?
It is straightforward, no need for you to do almost nothing. A network of special transmitters/ beacons is placed within the protected area. Each transmitter is located near a point of interest related to the area’s rich biodiversity.
When your device comes within range of a transmitter, you will receive an audio-visual notification related to your location.
Where is the network of Beacons available?
There are installed transmitters/ beacons in the surrounding area and inside the Evros Delta Information Center in Traianoupoli, in the three observatories of the Evros Delta (Drana, Antheia and Paloukia sites) and on the trails developed in the area of Avantas Alexandroupolis.

Yes, individual points of interest are marked accordingly to download the app as long as the device is connected to the internet. However, it is recommended to download the application to your device before arriving at the site.
